finish unpacking by new years

my roommate is moving in with her boyfriend so i am getting my own place. the lease is up in two months so i need to go ahead and get started on packing and get it over with

all my books are unpacked. the only thing left is a couple of boxes full of randomness

my bookshelves are painted so i will be spending the evening unpacking and cataloging my books

i’m down to just all my boxes of books plus a few boxes of randomness. if i can get my book shelves painted on sat i will be able to finish unpacking by this time next week!

went through some boxes and have two garbage bags of stuff to get rid of yay!

so now that the girl that was staying in our living room for a few months is gone, my roommate and i are determined to finish unpacking and buy furniture and make this actually look like a home. it’s not like we haven’t been living here for six months :/ we both worked on getting our bedrooms organized today, so we are going in the right direction.

i’m moving out of my boyfriend’s house so now i have to start packing everything back up! i plan on going through everything so i don’t end up taking a bunch of junk with me.

i’m in the horrible cycle of having to keep cleaning up the clutter in my room and not actually unpacking anything. i need a dresser or some shelves or something.

i didn’t exactly unpack very much, but i did organize the boxes and stack them up. i also went through a bunch of old magazines and got rid of them. my biggest problem is that i save stuff i’ll never use again. at least i can get through the door to my room now! i plan on going through my books today and getting rid of the ones i don’t need and unpacking the rest and putting them on my shelves.
it’s amazing how much motivation you can find when you can’t find paperwork you need for school! lol

a few weeks ago i bought some metal containers for the bathroom shelves and unpacked and organized all my bathroom stuff and makeup. i set up my computer so i could listen to music while unpacking. too bad my speakers are still packed! lol. a friend came to the rescue and let me borrow some speakers so now i have no more excuses. besides, i really want to sew and have nowhere to put my new machine.
