sing and listen to music everyday

yeah…a bit early for that…but since I’m choosing my children’s choir songs for Christmas I must do it now. I sang and play for at least one hour today. We started rehearsing some songs already but I wanted to get a couple of more easy songs for the concert.
Hope they love the songs as much as I do.

It’s Vacation Bible School at my church!!! and I came to find out that I was the song leader…just today, right before singing. Anyway, the lady that organizes it forgot to tell me that detail. I just thought I was one of many up front singing…Well, we are doing great. I am having a great time with the kids, singing and being silly, doing all the motions for each song.
And…I am singing a lot. During a break, the guys from the band asked me to start singing with them. They formed this band a little while ago and play for churches in the area. I am soooo excited to be doing this again. I’ve missed singing. All I was doing was directing the choir…but now I get to sing!! YAYYYYYY

I’ve been getting ready for my children’s choir to sing pretty soon so this goal has been a lot easier to accomplish daily. I’d like to improve though, I’d like to be listening to all my old CDs and finally decide which ones I’ll keep.

Yesterday I listened to Laura while doing dishes and cleaning. I decided that if I don’t listen to my CDs soon…I will give them away. aaayyyy…

I sang so much yesterday! It was fun. I had to translate and adapt a song for my children’s choir so I kept singing…and when I was done with the work, I just kept singing for the fun of it. It’s been awhile! Gotta sing everyday, I didn’t realize I missed it that much.

Today i played the piano and sang in Spanish, a lot. It was good…for me at least. The neighbors…who cares? haha

Well, I’ve been more aware of this goal this week and been listening to my music, which means turning off the TV…it’s there in the background. Most of the time I am not even watching!! aarrggghhhhhh
Music is so much better, doesn’t even compare!
