give more gifts

My sister and brother-in-law have a couple of dogs. The younger one is still a baby. She’s so cute!! Anyway, I stayed over their place this weekend and while I was there I crocheted her a pink fuzzy blanket. I think she likes it (well her “mom” likes it)

A friend of mine is traveling tomorrow to her country to visit family. She has bought Mary Kay products from me in the past and told me that she needed some more. Well, I knew she wasn’t going to be able to get them right away so I gave her a traveling set of her skin regimen so that she’ll have enough for her trip.

My girlfriend has a cute cat named Rocky. I was at Cost Plus World market and saw this cute cat treat canister and a cat toy set. I just had to get them for him. Then I went home and crocheted a fluffy blanket for him and put it inside the canister with the toys. My gf send me a couple of pics of him with his gifts…so cute!

I’ve been reading this awesome book “Resting Place” by jane Rubietta. My gf and I were talking about life and I thought this book would be awesome for her so i gave her mine. Now…it’s been hard finding it at regular bookstores so today i went back to Fuller Seminary Bookstore in Pasadena and got the last one they had! She is loving this book as well. It felt so good to give it to her!

OK, so it’s almost summer…but my BIL and SIL have new crocheted warm hats just because. OK, they don’t get to use them yet…but I suggested that in the meantime they turn the hats upside down and place them on the dresser to put their keys, change, and receipts at the end of the day.

I made a whole bunch of scarves to give out just because…but now that summer is coming, uh…OK, now I have to make something else, like summer hats, or summer lacy shawls. And this would also take care of my goal of crocheting more! :)
