Since last entry and using my home scale as reference I lost 15 lbs. I’ll keep this goal though….
I haven’t been writing here that much and I hadn’t realized how much I had lost already. This makes me feel good!
I thought I was stuck and had nearly given up but reading back I see that there’s been great progress.
...yet another good reason to keep a journal!!!

They weighed me with SHOES, and CLOTHES and after breakfast!!! and it was 185 and when I got home and reweighed my self it was 180…so…I’ll lose 10 lbs either way. he he

Since 181 was my highest weight this year, I’ll consider this goal done when I get to 171 lbs.

The Cabbage diet week went ok, I guess…I added protein because it was way too unbalanced. I wouldn’t do this diet again, not at all a way of life.
But I’m glad i got a push into my new lifestyle. I am eating a lot more veggies and fruits now.
Today I had fruits for dinner. One of my goals is to eat only fruit or only vegetables during either breakfast, lunch or dinner. It wasn’t that hard last week, it should be a lot easier this week. So far, so good. :)

OK, the last few months have been difficult in terms of getting back into shape. So many false starts followed by a weekend away when I give up thinking that there’s no hope for me.
I looked at my Polar exercise logs for this year and they are abysmal. The only good thing I encountered is that in the month of October I’ve increased my weekly exercising from once to 3-5 times. And that’s progress and I am glad I’ve changed that part.
I believe in a healthy lifestyle (see other entry NEW START) instead of fad diets and quick fixes. But I’ve decided to follow The Cabbage Soup diet for a week because it is based on fruits and vegetables and it will help me detox from last weekend in Vegas… I think this diet is one that doesn’t claim to be THE answer to all problems but more of a push into the right direction. I love fruits and vegetables but I get into eating carbs (bad ones: potatoes, pizza, bread, pastas) and cannot stop…I crave them. Eating fruits and vegetables as in this diet will help me stop these cravings. I know it will be difficult in the first few days but I hope I last to the end of the week. My worse day: FRIDAY when I have a Costume Party for my children’s choir…but I’ll survive.
After this week I’ll follow a more balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and grains.

WTF! ok…I sure hope this was due to that TOM!! I already went down to 178. BUT! this was so discouraging to see. I hate that stupid scale. It’s not the scale, I KNOW. It’s me!
This is a daily struggle, I should accept it and deal with it instead of bitching and crying about my failures.
I’ve done this before, I can do this again!

Lost 1 lb. yay!
I was at 175 last week, but with my husband’s bday weekend…well, let’s just say that I was not careful AT ALL.
So, my new START WEIGHT was 177. I was trying not to post my weight, embarrassed to do so. BUT, this will keep me accountable.

I am reading my goals…and I feel embarrassed that I still haven’t lost the first 10 pounds. I lost one, went up two, lost one…well, I am in the same boat I was six weeks ago.
I just keep losing control of my eating, not when I am out or with my husband but when I am home alone. I just eat and eat and then I feel so stupid and depressed that I eat some more. Quite pathetic, I know. My gf is trying to lose weight too…so I want to help her and she wants to help me! Ok, I know it’s a matter of starting again, fresh, new start right away instead of waiting for next Monday! So, I am gonna have to start anew every single day for many days until it gets to be a habit.

First of all I have to lose those pounds I put on after the wedding…Pasta is so good! hehe
Well, I have a total of 40 pounds to lose but I am setting smaller goals so that I’ll make it. I’ve done it before, I can do it again!!!
