I’ve been thinking about this for years, dancing around the idea and being dragged back to being ‘sensible’ many a time by working my ass off in the mental health psychology field and trying to get up the career ladder.
Now I’m learning that there is a lot more to life than trying to be successful in your career to please your parents.
So….there I was on the train from Nottingham to Brighton yesterday, reading ‘join me’ by Danny Wallace….and this girl sits next to me and we get chatting and she tells me about her amazing travelling TEFL experience in Canada, Japan, China and India and when I got home I booked the TEFL course straight away.
I went to www.tefl.co.uk and am attending a course in Brighton in March. I want to complete both parts = 100 hours of study overall with a recognised TEFL certificate. I can’t friggin wait!
Just need to start saving travel money now, any tips?!
