Im not sure what to do…..I have really enjoyed the running but the inside bottom half of my left leg has been getting very sore and I have not ran for the last 2 weeks.
Dilemma.
Im not sure what to do…..I have really enjoyed the running but the inside bottom half of my left leg has been getting very sore and I have not ran for the last 2 weeks.
Dilemma.
I’m really pleased with myself. I have run this Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday of this week in the following way:
X Warm up stretches
X 5 mins brisk walk warm up
X 1 minute of running & 3 minutes of walking (repeated 4 times)
X 5 mins slow walking, cooling down
X Cool down stretches
It’s going great. I’m following a 10 week runnning plan in the book I bought. I’ve run twice this week so far, my legs feel great as Im warming up and cooling down well but my sides (yeeeow)...they feel stretchy!
My ultimate goal: run a marathon. My mini goal after 10 weeks: do a fun run
I’ve tried to do this lots of times but am really going to knuckle down this time :) My problem has always been not knowing what I’m really doing…I’m the kind of person that needs strict guidelines on how to do stuff if I don’t have a clue about it.
So….I’ve ordered this book:
‘Running Made Easy’ by Susie Whalley and Lisa Jackson
Can’t wait for it to come through the letterbox weehee!
