31/05/2011

1. What did I learn last week?
02/06 – i am able to admire the major mood swing behind my grumpy entry now. while writing, it felt like i was wearing gray glasses instead of pink ones.
- I noticed 1) i am done with charity counselling aka friends who are abusing me; 2) i am planning to explain this and expect reasonable results. I know 1) that i need to work on my inner freedom 2) on my right to have fun and rest. I love 1) spending time with my mum 2) and that is an absolute.
2. What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week?
- I took one whole day for just being with people i like. One whole day is truly something considering all my responsibilities.
3. Which moment from last week was the most memorable and why? – L and her big secret. Cute and affirming. E & A and their growing relationship. My heart grows along with that.
4. What’s the #1 thing I need to accomplish this week? – Cleaning. A lot of that, again. I would not feel comfortable doing it on my own, the stakes are too high. And the amount of the task is rather scary.
5. What can I do right now to make the week less stressful? – Go to work and then take a bath. Perhaps start planning my beautiful days again.
6. What have I struggled with in the past that might also affect the upcoming week? – Feeling trapped. Feeling tired. Not enough energy.
7. What was last week’s biggest time sink? – Bachelor, Ukrainian version. Nightowl hours. Listening to music for hours.
8. Am I carrying any excess baggage into the week that can be dropped? – The boundary-issue. I need to find the words to explain myself without hurting those who are hurting me.
9. What have I been avoiding that needs to get done? – Cleaning, reading, writing.
10. What opportunities are still on the table? – Taking my vitamines every day. Continue treating my back. Sun and fun.
11. Is there anyone I’ve been meaning to talk to? – A.
12. Is there anyone that deserves a big ‘Thank You’? – Mum, E.
13. How can I help someone else this coming week? – Help me! I really should do that.
14. What are my top 3 goals for the next 3 years? – Saving money. Very measurable. Learning about my heart and my interests. Growing independent.
15. Have any of my recent actions moved me closer to my goals? – Thinking. Not planning yet, i am constantly in pieces and/or need to do something for someone. But i plan to start planning to do something for myself first.
16. What’s the next step for each goal? – Bank account. Thoughts account.
17. What am I looking forward to during the upcoming week? – Sun. Finish cleaning. Laughter. Happy thoughts. Happy news. Less foreign stress.
18. What are my fears? – Getting bitter for no real reason.
19. What am I most grateful for? – Mum, actually. I also need to focus more on God, have been absent again.
20. If I knew I only had one week to live, who would I spend my time with? – This time i am tired, so it does not truly feel like “oh no!”. I guess minimum amount of people. Maybe i would even take a plane to some place with my mum. Or alone. Some place nice. Away.

23/05/2011

1. What did I learn last week?
- A) I need to take care of my health. My back. My heart. B) Teamwork is based on positivity, responsibilty, trust and working together. C) I really need to talk less. Think slowly and peacefully, talk slowly and peacefully. EDIT: i just discovered that 16 people are subscribed to my nonsense and now i am superhumbled and sort-of-oh-whoopsadaisies-scared. perhaps i should start … writing better, thinking better, living better. i just sighed deeply.
2. What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week?
- More time for/with God. Sunday with children.
3. Which moment from last week was the most memorable and why? – Meeting M, very suddenly. Warms my heart to see (again and again) that forgiveness is so close, and that there is a miracle inside every person.
4. What’s the #1 thing I need to accomplish this week? – A letter to M. Also, an essay.
5. What can I do right now to make the week less stressful? – Go to bed!
6. What have I struggled with in the past that might also affect the upcoming week? – Foggy feeling of the twilight zone when put in the situation of small-talk. Or even medium-talk. Dislike.
7. What was last week’s biggest time sink? – Internet.
8. Am I carrying any excess baggage into the week that can be dropped? – Yes. I`ll talk to D. Hopefully. Possibly.
9. What have I been avoiding that needs to get done? – Cleaning. Oh yes.
10. What opportunities are still on the table? – Taking my vitamines every day. And all else that i keep forgetting. Mambo-jambo.
11. Is there anyone I’ve been meaning to talk to? – D. That not so pleasant “we-need-to-talk” type of a talk. It might very well mean that i`ll skip that because she is scary. Not like a troll, but like a “oh-you-little-creature-crawling-beneath-me” kind of scary.
12. Is there anyone that deserves a big ‘Thank You’? – M. She is nice. If i was not so busy being all green from envy that such perfection like her exists, i would be writing her a note on pink paper right now. And my mother, always. Just for being perfect and not making me suffer from envy while accomplishing it so gracefully.
13. How can I help someone else this coming week? – Need to think about this, i have already been booked for babysitting. There must be more to do. Sometimes i would just truly wish i could sleep for a week instead of being a “what`s your emergency?” person.
14. What are my top 3 goals for the next 3 years? – Saving money. Starting today. Back to school. (Probably, not sure how serious i am about this yet.) New job. Very serious about that. Ahh, and how about marriage? Should start thinking about that, too.
15. Have any of my recent actions moved me closer to my goals? – Looking for job. Not bad. Spending all my money. All bad.
16. What’s the next step for each goal? – Bank account. A week for deciding what would i like to study further. More hunting. More sleep, a new dress, open mind. Prayer. For all four cathegories.
17. What am I looking forward to during the upcoming week? – Sun. I need sun. And some free time. Perhaps even a movie with a friend. Maybe ice cream. Have not had a simple life for quite a while.
18. What are my fears? – Too sleepy to fear.
19. What am I most grateful for? – God and the way He chooses to communicate with me.
20. If I knew I only had one week to live, who would I spend my time with? – I would be crying. Panic and pancakes with my mum.

15/05/2011 (a bit windy, a bit rainy)

1. What did I learn last week? – That God, creating me, somewhat underestimated my ability to create chaos. It is spreading. All over my relationships, homework and time management. I need stable control over my chaos. I need a big spoon to shovel chaos out of my boat.
2. What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week? – I planned a few things quite properly. Like the namecard affair. Like the laundry week. Yes. And i regained control over my mailbox. For a second there.
3. Which moment from last week was the most memorable and why? – Two letters from an old friend. Such a surprise. Also, a certain cat petting moment. Noticing that the trees are in full bloom.
4. What’s the #1 thing I need to accomplish this week? – Clean my life. Start by cleaning my home, though.
5. What can I do right now to make the week less stressful? – Already wrote down some stuff to do. Also, i should converse with handsome supportive friends more. Lifts my mood. Jesus suits fine. And a few more.
6. What have I struggled with in the past that might also affect the upcoming week? – Protecting my boundaries against evil attacks of well-wishing friends. Not sure if they wish well only for themselves, or also include me and my benefits.
7. What was last week’s biggest time sink? – Trying to rest, but doing it in a really passive way. Computer-time, staying up late and getting more tired than rested.
8. Am I carrying any excess baggage into the week that can be dropped? – No. Just those scary responsibilities.
9. What have I been avoiding that needs to get done? – An essay. Another essay. By “essay” i mean gathering my thoughts so that i could mail them off finally. To people who have been waiting for a while now.
10. What opportunities are still on the table? – Green gym. Of course. Meaning, a stadium close to my home. For yoga, for running. For taking care of my little body.
11. Is there anyone I’ve been meaning to talk to? – Yes, yes. I can name … five people.
12. Is there anyone that deserves a big ‘Thank You’? – My mum. Always. My daddy. Always. God. This week, E., for taking care of my mum. And S., for drawing me that sweet flower.
13. How can I help someone else this coming week? – By praying for many, many urgent needs.
14. What are my top 3 goals for the next 3 years? – 1) Spiritual growth (read the Bible through, understand it, use it, love it), 2) taking care of my mum as well as i possibly can, 3) new job, new life
15. Have any of my recent actions moved me closer to my goals? – I am actually looking for the job. Did it last week, will continue this week. And Bible stays opened.
16. What’s the next step for each goal? – Plan reading Bible (by exploring different subjects). New job, more money for my mum. Buy her a dress for summer.
17. What am I looking forward to during the upcoming week? – Being succesful in my cleaning mission.
18. What are my fears? – Really finding that new job and being really awful at doing it.
19. What am I most grateful for? – Forgiveness. My mum, today. V, today. A, today.
20. If I knew I only had one week to live, who would I spend my time with? – My mum, certainly. (+ I would say my goodbye`s to everyone that loves me. Personally, if possible. That made me think. I should change it. My goodbye`s to everyone i love.) And probably a few spiritual people, to help me to prepare.

starting with this -- on sunday

1. What did I learn last week? – If you have trouble answering this question, it’s time for a change. It doesn’t matter how old you are, you should learn something new every week.
2. What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week? – Reflecting on your accomplishments is a healthy way to raise self confidence and contentment. It’s also an effective way to track your progress.
3. Which moment from last week was the most memorable and why? – It may open up your mind to new passions and goals, or simple pastimes worth revisiting.
4. What’s the #1 thing I need to accomplish this week? – Everything else is secondary, and should be treated as such. Nevertheless, this question will also shine light on other noteworthy tasks.
5. What can I do right now to make the week less stressful? – Set reminders in your calendar, get your laundry done, fill the car with gas… organize yourself.
6. What have I struggled with in the past that might also affect the upcoming week? – The idea here is to learn from your struggles and better equip yourself for future encounters.
7. What was last week’s biggest time sink? – Steer clear of this in the future. Setup physical barriers against distractions if you have to.
8. Am I carrying any excess baggage into the week that can be dropped? – Physical clutter, mental clutter… eliminate the unnecessary so the necessary may shine bright.
9. What have I been avoiding that needs to get done? – Pencil in a time to get these things done. For any 2-minute or less tasks, consider scheduling them first thing Monday morning.
10. What opportunities are still on the table? – If it’s still available and you want it, make a concrete plan to go after it this week.
11. Is there anyone I’ve been meaning to talk to? – Regular communication can solve problems before they fester. Always keep an open line of communication to those around you.
12. Is there anyone that deserves a big ‘Thank You’? – Take time each week to thank the people who have helped you. Your kind gesture will not go unnoticed.
13. How can I help someone else this coming week? – The easiest way to get what you want is to help others get what they want. If you help them, they will remember you when you need help.
14. What are my top 3 goals for the next 3 years? – You’ll never make any progress in life if you don’t setup realistic goals for yourself.
15. Have any of my recent actions moved me closer to my goals? – If the answer is no, something needs to change.
16. What’s the next step for each goal? – Knowing the next step is the key to accomplishing the whole.
17. What am I looking forward to during the upcoming week? – The answer can act as a great source of motivation. If nothing exists, schedule something to look forward to.
18. What are my fears? – Consciously address your fears each week and slowly work on resolving them. It’s all about taking baby steps.
19. What am I most grateful for? – It’s a smart way to keep things in perspective, and something you should never lose sight of.
20. If I knew I only had one week to live, who would I spend my time with? – Another helpful reminder… Life is short. Spend more time with the people you care about.
