Yes, the US Navy showed such restraint against the teeny tiny boats. Give me a break. And then, to make such a big deal over this threat? Seriously. Seriously.

WE MUST SHOW CONTROL instead of all the dumbass machismo rhetoric.

I always figured we don’t have the military resources to invade yet another country. But the more I compare rhetoric from 2002 about Iraq and Saddam Hussein with current rhetoric about Iran, I become more certain.

There is a great web site that chronicles many Bush Administration statements about Iraq since 2002. Eerily the latest statements about Iran echo the same loaded rhetoric meant to foster fear among our citizens.

We must not fall for it again. I hope John Stewart points this stuff out on the Daily Show so at least some people will see it. I know the mainstream media won’t do it.
