I have a friend who I’ve known since 8th grade. I used to be like “hey, she has lots of friends, and look at how easily she interacts w/ her guy friends”, We fell out of contact and knew that we would probably not be that close, but we ended up in the same math class, and we’ve grown so close since” and on Valentine’s Day…..”she gave me chocolate-covered strawberries, brigadeiro, and a rose..yayyy!!! She really REALLY made my day <3 (need to make her a drawing) this was a few days after i confessed to my guy friend that i had feelings for him, to find out that he was unrequited crush. I guess high school is that test that we have to past (it's my senior yr) and those moments when we could gather courage, and find rejection is just one of those challenges in high school, and in life. People say that love is worth it, other says its not worth it at all. And then i've heard that some people's advice include not to date guys in high school years, b/c the maturity for the guys and girls aren't just compatible yet. Maybe the guys that are worth are those who don't really attentive to you, the one's that aren't judgmental and the ones who are like : "eww, u have an ugly hairstyle" or those who constantly say "ur beautiful" in the sense of manipulation or those who give positive yet awkward silences when u admit to the dude that u aren't beautiful and u don't dress as pretty as the other girls. This entry is dedicated to those who feel insecure, and that you (yes YOU) are really valuable and not to let some outside force convince you to think differently. This entry is dedicated to my friend Chris, with her making my day, and which is why I dedicate a quote-The best feeling in the world is knowing you actually mean something to somebody-to her!
