Well I bought the Rosetta Stone level 1 & 2 (save $100 together) since 43thinger Larry Gilbert endorsed it (he’s responsible with the winning reply – LOL). Looks promising – will set it up Saturday. Don’t have the energy to try to get to agree with Vista at the moment.

My DH is panamanian & we’re visiting again in Augosto. Other trip was a few years ago & it was very tiring to keep up! Also, I want to make the leap from listener to speaker.

I need a short term plan & if anyone reading this has ideas, please post. Like is Berlitz better or is Rosetta Stone? I have tried to have himself tutor me, but is not something we stick with regularly. Mid summer there is an intensive class at the Open Center (NYC) & i’m 99% ready to sign up, but until then I need a daily regimen. Reading the news is not enough, I understand it, but it doesn’t give me any practice speaking
