I found $5 in a shopping trolley the other week – it was bizarre, ther is was flapping in the breeze waiting for someone to claim it.
Unfortunately I think I spent it before it made it to the jar!

I found 13 cents cleaning out the clutter – amazing to find the 3 cents as 1 and 2 cent pieces have been out of circulation for absolute years.
That I can report an addition of $5.20 to my stash, that’s a total of $8.25.
Another 15 cents added by my husband – five cents we found whilst shopping. The other 10 he found on his own. We will keep on working toward that $100.00.
I feel like I’d be cheating to add this in – so I’m not counting the 12 dollars but I have to share.
When I was about 15 or 16 I used to keep all my 5 cent pieces in a bottle. (I foolishly thought I could save enough money for an overseas holiday if I saved all those stray 5cents) At some point in time I’ve bagged them up into coin bags to take to the bank and failed to do so – I found six of those bags last week -I had put them away in a cookie jar and forgotten about them.
So technically I found 12 dollars in change, but since it was an earlier collection I feel like I’d be cheating, so off to the bank it goes.
We have a sliding door in our house that rarely gets closed and if it does I’m never on the hall side – until today and there under the door was a 5 cent piece. Now I’m up to $2.90.
Found a further 35 cents whilst clearing the clutter from one room into the clutter bucket (okay the spare room) Just imagine what I might find when I go through the spare room and declutter.
55 cents cleaning up the house. That makes it $2.50 – only $97.50 to go before I have to reset the goal.
There it was on the ground right next to my car as I got out to pick up my son from Day Care
Now $1.95.
A quick jump with a $1 coin and a 5cent piece in a matter of minutes. $98.10 to go.
