Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

I'm done

With regularly eating fruit and veggies now for over 5 months I’m chalking this one up as done.

Today I ate

a bean salad and a fruit salad for lunch.
Every day this week I have had vegetables and fruit during the day at work and I have vowed to get back on track with my eating habits as of Monday.

Day 11

For 11 days now I have been eating more fresh fruit and vegetables. In fact for 11 days I have cut out all processed foods from my diet – lost over an inch from my hips and am starting to feel better physically for it to.


I’ve been making it a habit to eat watermelon and grapes every day – now I look forward to morning and afternoon teas.

Kidding myself

I’m kidding myself into thinking that hot potato chips count as vegetables LOL. Better start working on the vegetable intake now that we have the fruit undercontrol.
Actually I think I’m having 5 fruit and 2 veg instead of 2 fruit and 5 veg a day

It's grape season

Now that it is grape season the fresh fruit is on the increase. I have eaten grapes for lunch for the past 3 days and it’s working a treat. rock melon and water melon will be added to the menu shortly. by the end of the season I might be sick of them

Bowel movements

I’ve got the bowel movements to prove it!!

Healthy Healthy Healthy

If I’m going to have another baby then I need to make its home a healthy place to be – I need to make sure that I don’t turn into a heffalump in the process so fresh fruit and vegetables will top the list.
