Argh—so bloody frustrated with myself.
My hair is dry lately and a little split, so that makes it all the more tempting to break the hairs at their natural splits. Similarly, I’ve been wildly bored at work lately and tend to find myself distractedly pulling at a hair when I least expect to.
Tonight, I’ll treat my hair to a deep-conditioner and a heat treatment (I really mistreat it with blow dryers, curlers, and flat irons) and will consciously keep track of when I tend to pull and why.
No reason at all for this. Blasted Trich.

I don’t know if it’s sugar, caffeine, hormones, or stress, but before I even realize it, I’ve begun again.
Awful, honestly.

Not going at all well. =/ Knowing that stress and processed sugar are two of the major culprits is fantastic, but seriously, grad school stress and constant LifeSavers have provided incredibly detrimental. =/
Must focus, my goodness.

I have had short hair since I started kindergarten and while sometimes, I feel that it suits my personality and frames my face cutely, overall, I’m entirely ready for a change. Added to that, I have mild, self-diagnosed trichotillomania, meaning that I pull out strands of my hair when I’m particularly anxious or frustratedly bored. So, then, conquer the trich and grow my beautifully healthy hair to beautifully flowing layers.
