Why does this elude me so completely?
Ideally, I’d like to start going to bed at 11:30pm, to start getting up at 7:30am, rowing for 30 minutes, having a nutritious breakfast, taking a shower, getting ready, and then setting off for work, refreshed and energized.
Instead, I get up at 8:28am and frantically wash my hair, get dressed, and put on a little bit of makeup before bolting out the door with coffee and a granola bar.
I absolutely refuse to go to bed at a reasonable hour and subsequently, can’t rouse myself from sleep much more than 30 minutes prior to speeding off.
I should force myself to do this one day and see how much better I feel throughout the day and how much better I sleep the next night, eh?

Must do this! Why do I insist upon staying up late as a way to show my defiance at having to work 15 hour days? Not brilliant, essentially.
Always tired, lately grumpy. =/

...not so much, no.
I’m at 2am on non-work days and about midnight on work days, with 7am and 11am being usual wake-up times.
It’s better than it was, but I’m not there yet.

If I can get to bed by 11pm on work nights and 1am on nights when I’m free, up at 7am on work days and 9am on days off, I think my whole body will feel better.
A plan, let’s see what it takes to implement it.

This is not going well, so much. Since I’ve graduated, I’m still jobless and my daily routine tends to start at 12noon and end at 3am or 4am. My sleep at these hours isn’t good sleep, it’s not solid and it’s barely rejuvenating. What I need is to break this cycle, get to sleep at midnight or 1am very soon here and start getting up at 8am or 9am. I’ve never created a logical, sane schedule for my own benefit, I’ve never done this outside of the obligations of school or work, so it’ll be a challenge, but if I can force myself to consciously realize its importance, I think I’ll function much better, simply.

While I’d originally intended to develop a kind of 1am-9am schedule, 8 hours with both night and morning hours free, as it turns out with my current class schedule, I’m afraid I’m going to have to stick to a more 12am-8am kind of a dealie. Not, y’know, thrilled about the midnight bedtime, but my days are already seeming incredibly long and much brighter. We’ll see how this pans out over the course of my semester. Hmm.
