And set another goal to relearn Qwerty instead?
There are various ways to set up a Dvorak keyboard on a random computer so there really is little motivation for me to relearn Qwerty… Dvorak makes me very comfortable.

Typing now is painless and fun…Not when I have to switch to qwerty…
Sadly I have almost lost the ability to touchtype in qwerty, and while Dvorak is enjoyable, the world out there is still a qwerty world.
Yeah, this is how I feel right now with Dvorak. Touchtyping is on the way, but I will need to force myself a little bit, the way I did with Qwerty some 6 years ago.
I’m feeling very good about my progress. At present typing isn’t terribly forbidding as it seemed at the start, and the feeling of typing fast with my hand fixed to the keyboard is exciting! Guess it won’t take long to get back to qwerty speed!
I still make a lot of mistakes when I tried to touchtype the way I did with Qwerty, but I’m happy enough with my Dvorak training anyway. It won’t be long until I can type as fast, and with a lot less stress involved. It really feels amazing when you touch type and find your hands barely moves—and you remember smashing the keyboard typing under Qwerty.
The only word that is definitely easier under Qwerty is ‘Qwerty’, but you won’t be typing it that often anyway, right?
It’s a week or so, and common words are no longer a problem. Of course still far far away from QWERTY speed, but typing is no longer a headache. The biggest problem is URL and such as common key combinations don’t work.
