Today’s weight is 201, which means 2 pounds lost last week, which surprises the hell out of me. I guess I wasn’t as “bad” last week as I thought I was.
I bought a whole bunch of veggies to snack on when I went to the grocery store yesterday, so hopefully this week will be just as good.

The scale this morning read 203.0, so ostensibly, I gained half a pound this week, although I’m willing to chalk that up to daily weight fluctuations and the fact that this scale only goes in half-pound increments. (Whose bright idea was that?) In any case, I did slip up a bit this week—I did less walking than I should have done, drank less water than I should have, and had no salads to speak of. I’ll have to work on that this week.
Also, this week I think I’m going to try replacing half of the sugar in my coffee with Splenda. We’ll see how that works.

Today’s weight: 202.5 lbs, which means I lost a pound this week. Yay! I’ve been drinking a decent amount of water (not always as much as I ought to be, though…), but we had a party at the apartment this week, and I’ve gotten lazy and not walked as much as I ought to, so I was a little worried. So far, so good. :)

Okay, I’m making this an official goal, and a personal challenge. I am currently 203.5 lbs. I have until January 17th, 2008 to get down to 153.5 lbs, or I will be donating $5 a week to charity until I do reach it.
I have a Weight Watchers cook book with 15-minute meals so that I’ll be less tempted to do something fast but unhealthy. I will buy water from the vending machines on campus, instead of soda. I will walk to campus at least three times a week. I’ve ordered an exercise ball and hand weights, and as soon as they get here, I will be exercising three times a week (or six times a week, if I decide to do upper and lower body on different days). I will eat more salads and less pasta.
Here goes nothing…
