spend more time doing what I enjoy

today i painted. i’m reusing canvases, so just painted backgrounds. but it was still fun to mix colors.

today i met my pal and we walked through nature trails. there were some cute birds around like sandhill cranes. and also chickadees that ate right out of a lady’s hand.

then, i went to the zoo with my other pal. it was a little zoo and there were some cute, weird deer.

this weekend i enjoyed doing some basic things that i had forgotten were so enjoyable:
.laundry
.rearranging furniture
.napping
.petting cats
.meeting friends at a bar

today i’m home. i feel lazy but i keep reminding myself that i’m sick!

in any case, i looked at icanhascheezburger.com animals for a while and it made me giggle. i have not done cheezburger research in so long. i’m glad i’m taking time for me today.

i love any cat in a business suit, especially ones pretending to be the big boss with annoying commentary. please enjoy him, too.

hobbies have taken a back seat to complicated ‘to do’ lists and work.

no more!

i’m not working on weekends anymore. no one seems to work as much or be as stressed as me. plan to focus on fun and my few commitments.
