Well he’s doing it! He has been eating better than I have. He is encouraged and positive. I am consistenly writing to him to ask how he’s doing and he’s actually doing the same for me. Today he told me that people at work told him he looks like he’s losing weight! Now I’m not doing the work but I am trying to help and it is working because we are both staying focused!

This ties into another goal of mine but I want to make this one a separate one to focus on my friend. He is 20 years older than me and can barely walk. He has made great strides in being sober and drug free for 11 years but his weight is his struggle. We are going to be doing this together and encouraging one another but I want to make a conscious effort to be there for him to keep him going because time is more of the essence for him. I technically weigh more than him but I am 20 years younger so I can battle this easier. So I am going to keep him motivated and keep tabs on him to help him keep going. He told me he needs this kind of feedback and I am going to give it to him.
