This can be such a struggle sometimes, but I think I’m taking steps in the right direction. I need to make sure I’m living my life to make ME happy, because in the end all we really can count on is ourselves. Does that sound super cynical? At the end of the day I am never going to know a person who has the same ideas about everything that I do. I will never know someone who agrees with everything that I believe in. So what is the point of trying to please anyone? You can never make anyone completely happy anyways so you might as well just concern yourself with you.
