get a laptop

Why not wait for the launch Windows Vista?

Vista should be launched somewhat soon (March maybe?!). I have been living without a laptop for so many years, I think I can wait a few months to buy a new notebook with Vista already installed.

Anyone is doing the same? Anyone is for or against this idea?

I need to convince myself that I need a laptop (notebook). So here is a list of reasons (or excuses):
1. To organise myself – ideas, projects, emails, pictures, videos, etc
2. To help me develop my own business – encourage myself to delve into my business ideas, work my projects anywhere
3. Privacy – not to use the home PC which is shared by others
4. Portability – show my projects to future business partners/investors, watch DVDs anywhere
5. To encourage myself to start a Masters degree

If you have any other reasons which I may adopt, please let me know. At the moment, I am 60% convinced.
