Name Brain Drain

I’ve been told that if you repeat the name of the person you’ve just been introduced to, you’ll be more likely to remember it.

“Hi, I’m Tracy.”“Nice to meet you, Tracy. I’m Aly.”

Unfortunately, I never remember that piece of advice until the person’s name has already vanished from my brain—usually within seconds of being introduced.
