Well – as I write this, I am still waiting for interested people in the home I have listed. I haven’t received one call since the housing market took a dump larger than King Kong in the Jungle of Japan (we all know it wasn’t filled in Africa).
I am still waiting to sell one. It's a long process for me know... waiting, wondering, spending Money in marketing.Oh well, had to vent.
Welll…. I have 2 listings, not any recent interest. I know it’s not the best time to try and sell a home, but I have spent a lot of $$$ marketing and all… It’d sure be nice to get something in return.
Well -
It’s been several weeks now that this home has been listed. I had quite a few people looking at it, when I first listed it. Now, not so many. How do you know when to lower the price? After a month? Two Months?
The couple I listed it for, need to sell as they are moving to Atlanta. Oh well – I guess I have to be patient.
Over the weekend – a family contacted me about buying a home! This is the fun part, looking at homes and picking out one they can afford. They referred friends to me, and now I have two prospective clients!
A tip for new home buyers – get pre-approved first. I won’t take you out in my car unless you are at least pre-qual’d, if not pre-approved. Once approved for funding – we know what you can afford and we know where to go.
I’m excited – i hope these go fairly easily and quickly.

Now I gotta sell a darn house! My web site is cool (www.briansnyderrealestate.com). My cards are cool. My farming letters (all 600 of them) have been sent out (delivering is scheduled for today actually), and they are cool. I even sent out 300 cool little magnets with the Nashville Titans schedule on them, 3×5 or so in size, and they are cool too.
So far I am out about $2500. I need to sell a place to break even. I expect 1-3 listings to come through my farming letters (I hope), so that’ll help maybe. I have had 1 family contact me through the web about a home they found. So who knows – maybe good news is lurking around the corner.
