spend less money

Well, July is done… and I exceeded my max amount by 3 dollars. :/ I started a knitting project, and I thought I could get the wool and supplies I wanted for less than 20 dollars, but it just topped 24, plus the 9 dollars already spent. Still, anyone knowing me would say that 33 dollars in a month is very reasonable anyway. laugh Thank you everyone for all your encouragement! I won’t abadon this goal yet; I’ll see if I can’t do it later on, when school starts, I’ll be so busy studying that I won’t have time to spend wishful thinking

I went out for dinner with a friend, but I had a gift certificate, so I only spent 9 dollars on my meal. :D Still, I can’t wait for this month to be over, it’s much harder than it looks not to spend on the first thing you want.

I didn’t have to spend money on my stethoscope after all, the batch they ordered hadn’t arrived yet. Managed not to yield to the temptation of going on a shopping spree with friends. So, 11 days and still 0!

But this is Friday, Friday AND payday, no less. Must stay clear of Ebay and chapters.ca….

Didn’t spend anything since the 1st. I just visited some family for Canada Day, so no expenses there. I hope I don’t have to give a deposit when I’ll go check the medical supplies store for my stethoscope and uniform though…

Okay, so I’m very much aware this the last day in June, so last chance to spend some money before I try not to spend more than 30 dollars in the whole of July. The thing is, there isn’t really anything I’d want to get right now, but just as we’ll turn to July 1st, I’ll have a full list. I figure if my friends don’t invite me on a road trip, I should be good.

I spent a whole lot of money in June, because of various trips, birthdays, father’s day, etc, so in July, I’m setting the goal of not spending more than 30 dollars for the entire month. This may seem like very little money, but I live in a small town, I work 12 hours a day and I don’t get out much, so it may be easy if I don’t go on Ebay too much! So yep, starting July 1, no more than 30 dollars’ expenses for the month. Updates to come.
