i finally did some/most/wouldhavebeenall of the steps of the oil change had the screw not been on so tight barely anyone could get it off. it was a good time, and now i think i could change it on most cars i might ever get.
is it worth the time you invest? it was for me because i want to be able to do it so i can trust it was done well. ha!
now go to ozzie & mario’s in feasterville, PA. it’s near whiskey tango, further down towards route 1.

but i definitely wouldn’t know how to do it myself, not even if i learned about it and read up on it for a while. but i have changed oil (with help) before and i’d like to start small and get bigger and more complex. it could be enlightening and money-saving!

my 1986 turbodiesel BMW 524 overheated. it started with a broken water pump. then a blown gasket head. and the terrible news- a cracked cylinder head.
expensive repairs in the past for this car have led me to want to learn to do car repairs myself. i guess starting with manuals and maybe car repair books and online stuff would be good, but i never make time.
i really want to repair my car (because i don’t have thousands to get it repaired!)
