Clean the whole house, top to bottom, stem to stern

Cleaned up the bathroom this week. Cleaned up the tub best I could. Omg was it ever nasty. Still doesn’t look great, but that’s not my fault. Hard to explain, but yeah. Plus, I’m not the one who’s lived in this house before. The toilet looks pretty nice though. So does the sink. Overall it looks pretty good. Next I’d like to clean out the closet so that I can put the toilet paper in there and the cat deodorizer and scoop as well as cleaning supplies. Yup.

Next week it’s on to the bedroom.

Things are looking a lot better. I cleaned up the entry way. No more trash all over when you first walk in. The hallway upstairs is pretty clean except for the cat area and than the area by our old room. I cleaned up the kitchen a LOT last week. It really looks good. Walking into the kitchen to get something feels so much nicer. Weird how a clean room can affect you in such a positive way. It really looks great. Still stuff on the table, but it doesn’t look too terribly cluttered. Stove is bright and shiny. Counters are good. And omg, my boyfriend actually helped me clean out the kitchen closet! It was an absolute MESS! So gross and annoying. It looks WAY better now. I love it. This week I’ll be working on the bathroom and the laundry room. :) I’m just happy that things are finally looking better.

Sometimes it seems like there’s a lot that needs to be done and than other times it seems like there’s just little things that need to be done, but in every room. Hah. So here’s my list.

Well first off I live on the top floor of a house with my boyfriend. We have a kitchen, bathroom, hallway and than like three bedrooms. Orginally we had one bedroom and than two roommates. It was my cousin and than this other guy that lived up there with us. Now though, the guy moved out so it was just us and my cousin. Than my cousin was having financial problems and couldn’t pay rent so it’s just my boyfriend and I which is actually really nice. We have a lot of space.

Well once the guy moved out, we moved into his room because it was bigger and we were getting his king size bed. He got our queen size bed and we in turn got a bigger bed. Pretty sweet. So we left the bed in his old room and switched over. So now I have all the crap from our original room to go through. Lots of little things on the floor and what not. Than my cousin left a nice mess in her old room when she moved out. Thankfully though I’ve already cleaned that up so that room looks pretty nice. Picked up all the trash in that room and vaccummed and than I put all my other crap in there. It’s all either in garbage bags or tubs so I just need to sort it out in there.

If you didn’t already know, I just moved to Texas from Minnesota so I still have a few smaller tubs in my car that I will eventually move up into that room.

So like I said, we have a kitchen. It needs to be cleaned. Things like dishes, the floor, clearing off the table, organizing the dishes better and than cleaning out the closet.

We have a bathroom. It’s not too messy. Some clutter here and there. A closet in there that could be cleaned out. More vaccuming. Yes, we have carpet everywhere upstairs. It’s okay I guess. And than of course cleaning the tub and toilet and all that fun stuff.

Oh and clearing out the hallway. There’s some random crap lying out there. Some of it needs to be thrown away, some of it put away. Argh.

Oh and ps, I have no idea why I wrote out this whole story. haha. More so for my own entertainment and know how I guess.
