be in a long term relationship

This one’s pretty exciting I think. We’re only two months away from one year so that’s really cool.

Things have been alright. The distance is still really hard on me. We do talk a lot on the phone though so that’s good. I just started a new job a few weeks ago and that’s been going well. Now I don’t dwell on it ALL day long. Just half the day. lol.

We still have plans for him to come up in July and I can’t wait. He also sent me a really cute card for our anniversary so that was sweet and made me feel loved. :)

Yay for love. I love him soo much.

Nine months. Whoo. Except now things have changed. Going from living together and seeing each other constantly to long distance. Extremely long distance or at least what I feel is. We’re about 950 miles about. :( It really, really sucks and it’s really, really hard. If we’re luck we’ll get to see each other in July. Ugh. Too far away!

Wow. It’s been 8 months now. Still going strong too. :) I love him so much! It’s amazing. :)

7 months doesn’t sound as cool for whatever reason. Hah, but it’s been that long. We went to Olive Garden and had ourselves a lovely dinner. :)

It’s so exciting! I can’t believe it’s been 6 months now. This feels like such a milestone. :) Tonight we’re going to Red Lobster to celebrate thanks to a gift card I got from my grandma. Awesome. :) Can’t wait. I’ve been looking forward to using it for quite some time now.

It’s been 5 months now. Awesome. I also got to meet more of Mike’s family at Thanksgiving. Mostly aunts and uncles and other random people who I have no idea what any of their names are. haha. Whoops. Also met his sisters husband so that was cool. He’s super nice, but yeah we’re still doing awesome and looking for many more good times with him.

Yay. Today is our 4 month anniversary. :) It’s pretty exciting for me. Also wanted to update on Mike and I flying up to Minnesota to meet my parents. It went really well! It really did. Everyone liked him and approved him and my mom espeically really likes him so yay! We had a really good time meeting my family and doing everything else we did. Mike really enjoyed being up in Minnesota. Hopefully we’ll get to do it again sometime soon. Maybe he’ll want to move up there eventually. :)

I know it probably sounds lame compared to how long some people have been together, but anyways, Mike and I have been together for three months now. Things are still going great. It’s exciting cause we are flying up to Minnesota together on Wednesday. The rest of my family is there. My parents, aunts, uncles, my brother, etc so he’ll finally get to meet my parents. I’m excited, and maybe a little nervous, but it should be great. Yay. :)

Long way to go, but so far it’s been amazing. To be honest, I’m in my first relationship, but things are just so awesome and I’m really happy for the first time in a long time so it’s great. I can see myself being with him for a long, long time. I know it’s early, but seriously, possibly forever. :) I think with these things you just know. Anyways, next month we are flying up to have him meet my family. Should be interesting and hopefully everything goes over well. Yay.
