judge a little less and forgive a little more

Every time you watch the news now, of course, there is some sort of snippet about Lebannon and the war. All these extremists fighting over religion and whatnot. Then I start thinking about how we do that to ourselved in our own country. Not to that length, of course…but we do judge and criticize each other based on lifestyles and religions. Even christians criticize each other based on which denomination is more righteous than the other. Give me a break! It’s all bullshit! What a waste of time! How about we spend less time condeming one another and more time learning to accept our differences and embrace diversity? How about we spend a little more time trying to understand where each other is coming from without judgement? How about people stop being so defensive about everything and just mellow out? How about people try doing things in moderation instead of thinking they have to take the side of one extreme or the other? Why don’t we just give each other a break? Hey, if that dude over there wants to pray to saints and the virgin mary and the other dude over there wants to pray to a Hindu god…who cares? Have at it! Chill out, people!
