33/30
Since today is the 30th and I have a lot of plans between now and 2009, I think it’s safe to say this is the end of the list for this year. I reached 30 books plus a couple though, so hooray for me. Things got pretty busy the past couple months, and I didn’t read at all for about a month up until the past couple nights. I’m ready to get back into some books and start on a whole new list for next year!

so instead of individual posts, I’ll just list the ones I’ve read since the last post. I don’t remember the exact order-
- Welcome to the Monkey House
- The Pact
- Crashing Through
- A Wolf at the Table
- Misty
- Star
A Wolf at the Table
I wasn’t sure I was going to like this one at first, but in the end, I did. It’s not a bad book, but of all Burroughs’ books, this was not one of my top favorites, and I hope there will be a lot more. I’m sad I don’t have anything left of his to read now.
Crashing Through
Not what I expected from the start. I thought it would start off with some guy who found out about a surgery or something that would cure his blindness, he would jump at the chance, and you would spend the whole book reading about the experience and his views during and after. Instead, it’s more a story about a blind man who’s more content and accomplished than most sighted people are with their own lives. It’s amazing how much a person can do without being able to see anything at all. So, does he ever have any corrective surgery, does it work, does it last, is he happy? You’ll have to read it for yourself! :)

Breaking Dawn
The last book of the series. I was sorry that it was the last one. I always hate to read the last book in a series that I really like, because then I know there won’t ever be anymore to read, and I really liked this series. I’m just sorry it’s all over now, but I’m pretty happy with the way it all ended.

The first book in the triology. I saw the movie and decided to read the books, because they’re always better than the movies. The movie (as far as I could remember it, since it had been a while) followed the book pretty closely though.
