Good idea I'd forgotten 20 months ago

I did this in my hometown once. My town is very small, but I looked at it like a tourist and went around to all the little shops and restaurants that tourists go to and learned so much about a place I should’ve known all about. It was very rewarding. Now I live in a big city, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to recreate that experience on a grander level. Best of luck!
