find a new church

God is pretty amazing in the way that He continues to provide for me. We went to mass at a Catholic church this sunday for easter (I was raised in the Catholic tradition), and it was great. I got past all of the pomp and circumstance, the fact that the Father spoke just like the preacher in the simpsons, the crying babies… I just looked past it all. That is where I encountered Christ. I think that maybe this church search is going to be easier than I thought. Not saying that we’ve found the one… but this was pretty encouraging.

I currently have the most amazing church family and home but cannot attend any longer on a regular basis. I work on Sundays and our service starts at 10:30am and I have to be at work (an hour away from the church) at 11:45am. I am praying that God will lead us (my boyfriend and I) to a new church home. My church now has a HUGE amount of young adult/college/career age people. It is really important to me that we find somewhere that embraces that age range. I don’t know where to start though….
