find a job i like

I’m putting this goal aside for awhile. My job isn’t all that bad and I get paid good for what I do. School will have to wait for awhile also. I just don’t have the money or the time right now. With the way the economy is right now I think it’s best just to stay right where I am.

I’m thinking about going back to school next year. I never finished college and don’t have a lot of choices because of it. I have been thinking a lot about what I would find rewarding in a career. This may sound a bit morbid, but I would like to work in a mortuary. I actually want to become a medical examiner, but I don’t have the patients or the money to attend medical school. Mortuary school would be the next on my list. I have checked into this and there is one not too far from me. My DH thinks that I should sit in on some classes to see if this really is for me before I make a definate descision. I agree with him, but I think I may have found my calling.

Right now I’m hating my job more than ever. I just found out that one of the managers where I work is going to be leaving the day after Thanksgiving. This means that myself and one other girl are the only keyholders left. We will pretty much have to work every day between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I was hoping that this year would be a little less stressful during the holidays.

This will not be happening before the end of this year. Maybe next year. I hate the holidays at work. This is the main reason that I hate my job.

I just filled out two online application for jobs that I would like to have and am actually qualified for. With some luck I may be able to mark this off soon.

I would love to find a new job before the holidays. I work at the mall and it gets crazy around the holidays. Actually the customers get crazy around the holidays. I have worked at the same place for 6 years now. I hate changing jobs, but I really can’t take much more. I just can’t figure out what I really want to do and I can’t find anything that pays close to what I make now.

My husband says that no one ever likes their job. I don’t agree with this. I would like to work in a bookstore or library.
