Waterfalls

Just about every year we go to Cumberland Falls and it is so pretty there. I love going to take pictures and just to enjoy nature.

Sandals

I love wearing sandals in the summer. I can’t stand the ones that go between your toes, but I love slip on ones. They are so comfortable and I have a reason to keep my nails pretty.

Boating

We rented a boat while on vacation last week and it was so much fun. We fished and relaxed all day long. Now I want a boat.

When DH Goes To Work

He is a sub at the PO. He normally only gets scheduled a couple of times a week, but they will call him in on other days. I like it when he goes to work when called in. He dosen’t always do that and it upsets me because I go to work everyday and he dosen’t seem responsible enough to go in when he can. We could really use the money he would make from going in when called. I try to work as much as possible to pay the bills and he dosen’t.

Movies at the Theater

We rarely go see movies at the theater, so they are like a special treat. We just saw one today and I liked seeing something on the big screen.

Pedicures

My feet are always so soft and pretty after a pedi. I love the foot massage and having someone else paint my toenails.

Foreign Horror Movies

I have seen some really good ones. The Japanese versions of movie like “The Grudge” and “The Ring” are much better than the American remakes. I also loved “The Orphanage” which was Spanish and “Them” which was French. “High Tension” was an exception. It was a horrible movie.

Family Outings

At least once a month we all get together, usually on Sundays, and do something. “We” includes my DH, DS, MIL, SIL, BIL, and Myself. We usually just go out to eat, but today we went to a baseball game together and then out to eat. It’s nice to relax and have some family time sometimes.

New Years

I know that New Year’s Day is just another day, but it always feels like a starting point for me. It’s like no matter how bad the past year was, I can start anew in the new year. Every year I hope that the new year will be better than the last. One of these years I will get it right. I hope this is the one. Happy New Year!
