use the library more

I got three more books from the library today and have a whole list of books that I want to borrow. I will keep doing this. I have read so many different kinds of books that I wouldn’t have bought since I started doing this. It has also saved me a lot of money that I would have spent on books. It is definately worth doing.

I picked up a couple of more books this morning on the way to work. A few more visits and I think I can mark this one as done.

I went to the bookstore yesterday and made a list of books that I want to read and then I got on the library website to see which ones they have. I now have a list of books that will last me about two months from the library.

I borrowed another book that I have been wanting to read today. They had to bring it from another library and I had to wait on it and it was in today. Yea! I’m on vacation the rest of the week, so I should be able to finish both of the books that I have out.

I actually just stopped by to drop off a couple of books and found that they are open until 8 on Tuesday and Thursday. I ended up going in and getting a new book and placing a hold on a book that I have been wanting to read that is being transferred from another library.

I came home from work on Friday, got my kid, and we went to the library. I checked out 3 books that I have been wanting to read and my DS got 2. I also paid my late fines while I was there. A few more visits and I can mark this as done.

Right now I’m catching up on some books that I haven’t read that are on my bookshelf. When I’m done with those I will go to the library. I also have some late fees that I hate paying. I will pay them though and try to get my books back on time from then on.

I love to read. I own so many books, most of which I have read. My bookcase is overflowing. I need to start using my local library for books that I don’t NEED to buy. Of course I will still buy some books by some authors, but the others that I just want to read for fun I will just get from the library. I do pay taxes that go towards the library so I should utilize what my money is going to and save some in the process.
