I’ve started exercising regularly, and have found that I can run(!!!) without inducing an asthma attack at all. I still carry the inhaler on me, as I suspect the attacks are more related to what season it is (and what allergens are in the air) when I’m exercising than just whether I am exercising or not… but I haven’t NEEDED it for awhile now. :D

Doing a lot better. Taking Singulair every day, and my albuterol inhaler is always in my backpack if I need it. Still doesn’t prevent me from getting wheezy when I’m, say, speed-walking uphill to get to class… but it’s a good start. The lack of cold weather helps immensely too. :)
Albuterol’s always been effective for managing my asthma… one or two puffs before I exercise, and off I go.
Today I warmed up by walking a mile… then tried to jog the next mile, and had to stop about thirty seconds into it because my lungs weren’t having any of that.
Another dr appt I need to make, looks like. Whee.
