The book pound

After work today, I decided to check out another book for the weekend at the library, and when I walked into the back entrance, I saw a sign that pointed to the attic that read Friends of Library Book Sale! So, when curiosity killed the cat, I jotted up the stairs to this perfectly beautiful, dusty, quiet, deserted place, shelves packed with old book sleeves and ratty covers. I scoured the racks and found many fantastic finds, but bought only one. The prices were exceedingly cheap for some classics, and I thought this would be the perfect place to find a homeless book, looking for a (temporary!) owner!
