Last Friday, I was at home, doing nothing and I heard my cell phone go off, so I grabbed it and it was my friend Brie, who lives in Eugene, and the whole reason I’m going to Oregon. Other than it being what I’m all about. She asked me if I bought my ticket yet, and I replied I didn’t. Tickets are outrageously expensive and I was saving up my money. She then proceeded to scream at me: “DON’T!” She went on to say that Southwest Airlines was having a New Year’s Sale, tickets from Detroit to Portland for $99.
The next day those tickets were mine.:)
