so, i’ve been old enough to start driving for months now. i just have procrastinated about it ridiculously.
i have an ioncentive now in that i’m going off to university in portsmouth which is pretty far away, and want to be able to drive back home to see my friends and family (and my boyfriend, obviously), so that’s my incentive for learning. one of the first things i intend to do when i get there is to send off for my provisional, and then include driving lessons in my budget. because i’m in halls, i can’t have a car with me for the first year, as there’s no parking for my building, so that will give me adequate time to sort out money for a car. i’ve thought this through quite a lot, and i think i have a reasonable timescale.
