find a job I love

When it rains, it pours.

but a request that I send a writing sample and transcript. So that’s good, I hope.

I do not enjoy the job search. I feel very strange calling alumni and chatting with them uncomfortably and asking to pass along my resume. It is artificial and awkward. I don’t like doing mailings because, in my experience, they don’t work. It makes me sad to think of my resume and cover letter lost in a stack that’s never looked at.

Four fellowships, two permanent positions. Fingers crossed!

Letters of recommendation on the way—perhaps too late to apply for some of the fellowships that I’d love to have, but still… I’m on my way.
