I’ve decided that I need to enrol in a class. The only way to force myself to study is to feel compelled to interact with a live audience as opposed to use an online learning site such as ChinesePod.
Just can’t “make time” in an otherwise busy schedule to get into a routine of studying one lesson per day, or even per week, on the online site. Need to refresh my understanding in a classroom situation, and harness the benefits of practicing pronunciation and tone control with other students.
Still, I think that the problem with practicing with other beginning/elementary students is that you pick-up bad habits far easier than if you study through a self-paced medium, or alternately pay the premium associated with tutoring.
Would be interesting in reading thoughts & comments from any other students :)
