The best days of the week are when I manage to use the bike for 30 minutes before going to work. Puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day, and I don’t feel so bad about having the occasional pub lunch with the boys.
I sometimes use the bike twice per day. The goal is now to always use the bike twice per day, and always achieve my target of 250-300 calories (according to the machine) each session.
I say “according to the machine”, because there is no way I am actually riding 12-14kms in half an hour – it is based on the resistance as well as RPM. I figure the calorie calculation works the same way.
Probably over-analyzing what is basically a good achievement :)

The new goal is 15km in 30mins.. and then a consistent 15km.. need to be more consistent and do at least 10km each time..

Really getting quite difficult.. Friday was kinda crazy just felt in a bad mood from work and wanted to get the negative energy out of the system asap! i guess its good that the legs feel like jelly afterwards – means its a real workout and its the right level of resistance! :)

Small goal to get the distance up to 10km by the end of the week. If I can do that I think I will have earned a beer or two :)

30 minutes on the bike, each and every day. No excuses. If I procrastinate in the morning, I do it in the evening.
