I've done this well enough to mark it done

This is the sort of thing that either gets marked done every day or doesn’t get marked done until dead (or never gets marked done). To that end, this is something I do, and I know I do, and thus, I’m going to mark as done. Those prayers that I blog as part of my prayer journal are available to the public to check on, but I’m not always able to blog them every day, but that doesn’t mean I don’t pray every day.

I do pray every day.

I do pray every day. I also keep a prayer journal and together one would think this would mean that I would, in an ongoing manner, journal my prayers and yet, my prayer blog isn’t something that I’m able to update every day, especially when I go on a journey to, amongst other things, make peace with my past and do not accomplish that.

So, even though I’ve not been able to update my prayer blog every day, I have been praying every day. But I notice it is a different sort of prayer. Often, all it is is “Lord, may thy will be done. Amen.” because often that is all that I have to say, to offer, or want to pray.

My prayer blog

I want to pray every day, to help promote an appropriate relationship with the divine. In what is sometimes seen to have a little bit of controversy, I have established a prayer blog. You can see it at
http://www.andrewsw.com/prayerblog/blogger.html
I’m leaving this link here not because I want to pray publicly and be vain about it (if it was about that, I’d encourage comments on the prayerblog). Instead, I’m leaving this link here because by making a public commitment to praying every day and by allowing the public to see my progress on that commitment, I really encourage myself to follow through on it.
