get published

The book chapter was published, but I still don’t have a copy yet.

As for getting published in something outside of an academic journal, that is still a goal, but not something that is active for me within my life right now. In other words, I am not actively attempting to pursue that goal. Thus, trying to trim down my goal list to things that are bigger than my current to-do list but I intend to have some degree of active pursuit with regard to, I’ve decided to mark this goal as “done” although kind of not quite done in the way that I originally envisioned.

I’m told that there’s a good chance that I will have a book chapter published, but there is still a bit left. I’ll let you know how things go.

I’ve been published in an academic journal, and technically my dissertation was a single-author self-publication. Also, technically anything I “publish on the web” makes me published.

No, I want to publish a book, or something like that. I want to be published in the sense of being able to give people a URL to something on Amazon.com and say “buy my publication there!”.

I suppose being part of an anthology or to write a magazine article wouldn’t be too bad either.
