Since new year, I’ve not eaten anything with over ten percent sugar or saturated fat. The cravings took a while to go, but now I’m snacking on healthy oat cake biscuits, mixed nuts and fruit. I’m full of energy most of the time and sleeping better. My skin’s even better too :-) .
Still need more fibre in my diet though.

I just added the goals to quite caffeine and sugar. In quitting caffeine, I’ve already taken around 14 teaspoons of sugar a day out my diet. And now I don’t crave sweet foods anymore, people bring donuts into work and I ignore them now, where as normally I’d have two. Now when I feeling hungry, I’m craving healthier foods, like soup or pasta.
The next step is start cooking my own foods and soups, because there’s a lot of junk that get’s added into supermarket stuff, event hough it’s meant to be healthy. Even juices, try going to buy a simple pressed pure carton of juice with no additives, not from concentrate, it’s harder than you think.
I’m going to start buying more food at health food shops, it’s a little more expensive, but as I spend around £5 a month on computer magazines, I think I can afford the few extra pounds to spend on being more healthy.
