i want to get a job

I’ve been working at a middle school now, for the past few months…and even though I’ve taken a substantial pay cut, I’ve never been happier…

I’ve sent my cover letters and resume to 4 companies today…which may not seem like a lot, but custom tayloring resumes to each company is hard work. I should change my goal to “I want to get a job in a creative environment” or something. This time, I’m not just looking for a job to pay the bills…I’m looking for one that will give me something more…

I resigned from my job at a large company in the travel industry…maybe 4 or 5 days ago…
Me, being me, I was too impatient and too sick of that place to stay on until I found another decent job. Today is day 3 of the new job search. I have 16 days until rent is due. It’s raining. ::sigh::
