I’ve lost about 14 pounds now. Down to a size 10. Last night was the first time I had people I hadn’t seen in a while notice and gush about how great I looked, ask what I did, etc… which was good for my ego and motivation level. I really only want to drop down one more size.

I had a week of vacation followed by a few days of travel for work and actually put back on a couple pounds. Today was my first day recommitting to this goal. I ate really well and hiked for an hour. It’s really hard to keep the motivation when things get busy and I don’t have time to buy or pack good stuff. Bad stuff is always easier to grab.

between a weeks vacation, moving, and traveling for work my diet has been worse and I am working out less. I seem to be headed in the wrong direction.

I started trying to do this in early May but instead of dieting strictly I’ve been trying to make dietary changes and up my activity level. In 7 weeks I’ve lost about 10 pounds. I want to lose another 15-20 which I think will take quite a while but I think I’ll be more likely to keep it off… I took off 40 pounds in the past but put them right back on.
