... to pray my rosary every day at 8:00 am. I know it won’t always happen that way-lately I’ve been saying it at about 6:00 while I wait for my kids-but having that time in place will remind me either that it’s “time” to say my rosary or that I’ve missed it and I’d better get to it ASAP.

All Souls’ Day and the month of November have inspired me. I have several people who need my prayers. If I keep in mind that praying for them is a matter of justice and charity, I think it will help me keep this goal better. I’m starting this practice today, and will report on its effectiveness soon. (That ought to get me motivated too!)
How are my teammates doing so far? I’ll admit I’m still struggling, but I think the past week or so has been challenging for me in general, and I’ll just have to tackle it step by step. So, today’s step is not to miss today’s rosary, and to prepare for it tomorrow. I haven’t decided when my usual time will be, but I can figure out, for today and tomorrow at least, when I’m likely to have time for a rosary. Have you set or thought about a prayer time?
I did this when I was single and master of my own time. Turbulent times and five kids later, I’m trying to establish the habit again now.
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
I used to love doing group rosaries. Now it’s hard to get to those, with the kids’ activities and all. I have even thought about having a phone prayer partner. Oh well.
I think morning is probably best.
