Since I have been sick or with other sick relatives for most of July and August, I haven’t had time to do this. But I need to get in better shape and feel more energetic than I have so far so I have started once again. I really like doing it, it is just a matter of putting down the mat and get onto it… My discipline sucks but I will do what I can!



Started! 7 months ago

Very tiny step for humainty, big step for me! I started with an hour session again and it went pretty well, although I expect to be very sore tomorrow. In any case I have made an agreement with myself to do this one at least 3 times a week and the short 20 minute one 2 times. So 5 times a week for the next 3,5 weeks should at least give me a basis and then I can continue in second half of June and summer to get ready by September. Sounds like a good plan, now I only have to stick with it!It is about time I use that mat I bought last year! ;-)



Starting again 7 months ago

later today! I have fallen off the wagon again, but now it’s time to get back on! I need to get in some kind of shape before the fall ‘no time to breath’ training season starts! So NOW is the time to do it!



I have started again today 13 months ago

It has been at least three months ago I did the 20 minutes and way longer since I did the fat burning 50 minutes, but today I did them both again. Although I have been seeing changes in my body this year (must be the being happy and eating accordingly factor) I would like to speed things up a little more, so I am planning to at least do the 20 minutes every day I am not travelling till the end of the year. More would be good but this would be a at least good starting point without it being in the way of reaching other more important goals on this list. So let’s go for it! Day 2 tomorrow…



I hate/love Mari Winsor 20 months ago

I have done today the bun thighs work out for the first time and it was very hard! Mari just says she know it hurts but it is worth it! Challenge and blunt truth is just what I need so I am sure I have now really found the exercise I can keep on doing for the time it needs! So although I hate her for making me work so hard, I also love her for inventing this whole range of short but very intensive workouts! Results are already showing so I keep going! The abs workout will be on the menu for next week, but first I need to get the hang of this bun thighs thing together with the circle series… New outfit here I come!



Done for today! 20 months ago

I did not do it yesterday because I was working all day till 3 am. I was very disappointed with myself but I could not bare to still do it at 3 am. :-( But to make it up and still reach my goal of doing it for 31 days I made it up today and did double the work. Maybe it is not smart and overdoing it but I am an all or nothing kind of girl so if I let it slide now, it will be sliding for the next few weeks or months and I really want to get in shape for the upcoming trainings. So I keep going and am looking forward to day 31!

I have made week 1! I have done 4 times the fat burning work out and 7 times the 20 minute circle for a total of 5 (!) hours of working out without counting the walks I also made. So this was a good week! Week 2 can start and to keep it challenging (standing still is not an option!) I will try to also include the bun and thighs workout at least once. Probably you will not believe it but I already see some small changes in my big body so I hope my new outfit can be at least a size or maybe two smaller, in 24 days of course, when I have done at least 15 more hours of sweating!

is ok! 20 minutes + walking, so enough exercise! Only downside is that my left knee sounds like a very creepy door. But since it has been living for the last ten years in the body of and 80 year old sitting all day behind a desk, I will give it some time to adjust and get used to the new 31 year old me. In the mean time I am aware of the ‘do not overdo it” sign!
But to keep going I am now promising myself a new beautiful outfit if I can keep up the pilates and walking for the next month! So to be continued…
