run a successful business

Running a business in general is challenging, running a succesful business is hard. Being sick for several months really does not help, having to pay a massive amount of money for social security for the 2 years I hardly had any income frustrating and discouraging to say the least BUT thank God I really love what I am doing and I have loads of ideas that can put me back right on track. So fingers crossed that I really can make 2010 my year of joy, development and succes, in that order! Of course hard work helps too! ;-)

I am more and more experiencing that being freelance meaens that opportunities but also challenges come your way on a continuous basis. Last week I was worrying about a cancelled training and not having enough to do this month, now I have two trainings next week (challenging ones!), coaching tomorrow and a million other things to do! Great! Best proof that thought is a powerful thing! More please! I want this year to be a fun filled year and also the year I become a professional in every possible way. So let’s go! Work and challenges ahead but nothing I cannot handle! Life is good!

right now so this is something I really need to work on for the future. In order to get work I needed to grasp every opportunity that I could, this needs a certain degree of organisation but when I then got the training assignments I organised this organisation is not good enough to combine working a lot and still staying organised enough to support the work I am doing right now and here and looking forward to the future. I basically need to always be in 2 places at the same time and do at least 3 things at the same time in the past, the present and the future. How do other people organise this? Hiring someone to do the adminsitrative tasks could be a possible solution, having a partner to divide projects/tasks and administrative burden with another but in any case I need to find some kind of solution for this because otherwise I will be the victim of my own succes (= hard work). So if you have ideas let me know! To be continued for sure!

I started Trainstorm, I brought it to the point where I earn money and can continue on the long term, now I need to really manage it and make this one woman company ready for growth and prosperity! I must admit I really enjoy this phase of the process because it is a combination of seeding, working, earning/harvesting and dreaming! They all are fun and rewarding, so I have no complaints what so ever about my choice to become self employed and to build Trainstorm! Love it! Phase 2 was a bit of a struggle but I think I got through that, so onward and forward!
