I seem to be back on track with this goal. I ticked off everything on my thesis to-do list today and feel as if I breathed a bit more life into it. If I can just keep the passion strong a couple of months longer…

I devoted today... 2 years ago

completely to writing and to gathering the resources I need for my final chapter. It’s been so satisfying to put in a whole day’s work without any distractions. The ‘completion’ phase is so much less angsty than the ‘thrashing around in the middle’ phase.

home stretch 2 years ago

This is my fourth year of work on this project and I think I am on the home stretch at last. Most of the big ends seem to be meeting as I conclude, and by some heavenly literary force, all kinds of little threads are weaving together as well.

I have such high hopes for this research, it’s hard not to get bogged down in all the goals following its completion…but for now, I just need to finish, submit and pray for a pass.
