Went for a walk around the neighborhood after the sun went down. It felt great! Part of that is the fact that it finally dropped below 97 degrees and 30 percent humidity, but most of all, my legs felt strong. I’m moving faster and it feels good. This is possibly the easiest step towards self-improvement that I’ve taken. Well worth it…

The documentation that came with my pedometer suggested that you keep a goal and running total for the week, rather than per day. Surprise! It was much more motivating for me to see 50,000 after five days than 10,000 on day five
Better yet, I’m on day 5 of my week, and I’m at 59,486. Hmm. If I take a walk around the block, I’ve got a free pass for tomorrow. Be right back.
Hit Chick’s Sporting Goods today and picked up a “buddy pack” of pedometers for CP and myself. We went for a walk after dinner and knocked out ~4,700 steps. Tomorrow: 10,000!
